Sega Bass Fishing
After I got my Dreamcast, this was one of the first games I got. If you have a fishing controller and like fishing games, this is the game for you. You can participate in career mode/arcade mode and try to catch the biggest bass to win the competition. If you want to sit back and catch some bass for fun, you can play free-fishing mode. You can fish from several locations and fish with different lures.

In 2001, a sequel called Sega Bass Fishing 2 was released and in 2008, Sega Bass Fishing was made for the Wii.



Gameplay: You can use your Dreamcast controller or your fishing controller if you have one. If you have the fishing controller, the gameplay mostly involves you reeling like crazy and occasionally turning the controller a certain way. Other than that, you just have to taunt the fish to bite your hook.


Graphics: The graphics are good for its time, but not the best.


Sound: There is not much sound in this game, but the effects and the narrations are pretty good.


Overall: This game is mostly for people who like fishing games and motion controllers. You also might want to recommend seeing some gameplay before you buy it.

CAUTION: SEAMAN - Sega Dreamcast

If I Had to pick my longest played game over summer break 2007 it was this. Seaman is a virtual pet video game for the Sega Dreamcast. It is one of the few Dreamcast games to take advantage of the microphone attachment, which in Seaman uses a (relatively) sophisticated form of voice recognition technology. The substantial narration is voiced by Leonard Nimoy (LOL yes, it is Spock) in the English-language version.

A limited edition version of the game titled Christmas Seaman was released in Japan on December 16, 1999 alongside a translucent, red Dreamcast. In 2001, Seaman was re-released in Japan for the PlayStation 2

A sequel called Seaman 2 was released in Japan for the PlayStation 2 in 2007.

GAMEPLAY:

After learning from Spock erm... Leonard Nimoy about an unknown species called "Seaman" (Yes, I know laugh now and STHU) you are sent to a tank to talk, feed, and keep a Seaman (2 if you're lucky) alive.

After a few days of waiting (Yes, it uses the real time internal clock)

your Seaman will evolve. So, if you're going to play get ready to lose your job.

And, that's pretty much how this game works..

GRAPHICS:

Not much to say... Average at best...

SOUND:

There's NO MUSIC in this game. But, For the narration and effects, all is good.

OVERALL:

This game is an acquired taste, you either love it or hate it. So, i'd say watch some gameplay before you buy

Soul Calibur Review

The Year is 1999, What is this white thingy? When I press the green one I swing my mighty sword at Lizardman! You see, this was my first time playing Soul Calibur, It's one of the oldest times I can remember.

Soul calibur is a fighting game developed and produced by Namco. It is the second game in the Soul series. Originally released in the arcades running on the Namco System 12 hardware, Soulcalibur was ported to the Dreamcast with improved graphics and new features. Soulcalibur was later released on Xbox Live Arcade in 2008.

The Dreamcast port is often cited as the greatest fighting game of all time, and even one of the greatest games across all genres; it is ranked as one of the best games of all time by review aggregator site GameRankings.

GAMEPLAY:

You can kill you opponent in 2 ways, very similar to other 3D fighters. A KO, Or a Ring-Out.

Now, where the variety comes in is, Swords. These little toothpicks can be quite cool to watch.

And just as a little fact, Soul Calibur is compatible with the DC Fishing Rod. true fact.

GRAPHICS:

At this time HDTVs didn't exist! But, if they did, it'd look like today's games.

This game is an eye-popper, just mesmerizing.

SOUND:

Amazing, Nuff said.

OVERALL:

By 1999, the Dreamcast port of Soulcalibur sold one million copies. The game is often considered to be one of the greatest games of all time, receiving perfect 10 scores from GameSpot, a Platinum Award from Electronic Gaming Monthly, a 10.0 from IGN, and being the second game ever to get a perfect 40/40 by Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu (the first being The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time). It is also currently listed as one of the best reviewed games of all time on the video-game-dedicated review aggregating site, GameRankings. Soul calibur won the 1999 E3 Game Critics Award for Best Fighting Game and the 2000 Interactive Achievement Award for Console Game of the Year.

Pick this one up folks.
